So marks the end of the craziest ever 2 months ‘break’; not the most apt word, but I suppose I could settle. Elective rotation, study, family, renovations, life, all thrown into this huge blender, and left to spin till it’s mush. To be fair, I wouldn’t have it another way. I find the busies, the crazies, the messies (haha) can sometimes open a new door that paves a way to a life you’ve never imagined. Kind of like opening the door to wonderland, or narnia. Or something. But I digress. Starting a new rotation tomorrow is pretty exciting; especially after spending 8 weeks in the Singapore hospitals. Also, because it’s general practice it might mean more hands-on and more teachings, which should be heaps of fun.

Really looking forward to February now, I get an astronaut for movies, mum, and some friends coming over to perth to enjoy the heat, along with 2 weeks of option unit with (hopefully) the gen surg team. Crazy fun.

Have a good Chinese New Year guys! It’s really really quiet this year; I don’t even feel like I’m gonna be missing the festive season :/
